Harvest Festival Assembly
Dear Parents/Carers
On Monday 6th October, we will be having a whole school assembly to celebrate Harvest. This year, we would like to make a donation of food and other items to Hadleigh Community Action’s food bank. Below, you will find a list of needed items, provided by the group. We are hoping all children will donate an item, if families are able, so that we may give thanks for what we have while supporting those in our community who are in need.
Children should give items to their teacher on Friday 3rd October, ready for Monday’s assembly. The list of needed items is as follows:
NON-FOOD ITEMS
Non-Bio Laundry liquid.
Washing-up liquid.
Bleach
Toilet rolls
Kitchen Roll
FOOD ITEMS
Tins of the following please:
- Chicken in white sauce
- Chilli con carne
- Beef & onion mince
- Tins of Ham
- Tins of Tuna
- Hot dogs
- Ravioli
- Spaghetti Hoops
Pasta
Pasta Sauce
Gravy Granules
Dried Noodles (such as packets of BBQ, chicken, etc.)
Orange Juice
Apple Juice
Any kind of snacks are always welcome.
MORRISONS
If you are planning to buy from Morrisons in Hadleigh, please buy SAVERS items where possible as it helps the money go further. Their foodbank bags are also welcome.
