School Sport

Through School Sport, every child is encouraged to ‘Be The Best They Can Be’. The sporting ethos at Hadleigh Community Primary School promotes; outdoor learning, healthy lifestyles, competition, extra-curricular opportunities and role models, as well as confidence and self-esteem.

The School Council are proud to present our new school sport teams kit, which will be worn to festivals and events around the County!

HCPS Biggest EVER football session for Girls 2024

HCPS took part in the biggest ever football session on Friday 8th March 2024. Over 465,000 girls from 5000 Schools across England took part in the FA event as part of the Let Girls Play campaign.

Many goals were attempted, scored, saved & conceded. Much fun was had by all! Take a look at the video!


Santa's Run up to Christmas 2023

Our annual Santa’s Run took place on the 20th December 2023. Our challenge was for all pupils from Nursery to Year 6 to run 145 miles (1905 laps around our school grounds) across Lapland to Santa’s House.

We managed to complete the task during the last day of term. After the event the pupils popped into the Sports Cafe for a drink & biscuit, kindly donated by the HSA.

Skip Into Spring!

Our annual Skip Into Spring event took place for all children from Nursery to Year 6, to demonstrate all their hard work and effort in skipping!

Although the weather was a little ‘damp’, the whole school got involved, including the staff! Take a look at the video to see their progression through the school.
