Dear Parents/Carers,
Following on from Mr Pilkington’s email last night after the Prime Minister announced a National Lockdown and the need for immediate school closure, I am writing to urge you all to only use the Keyworker provision where essential.
From what we understand from the data and statistics being published, the infection rate and impact of the pandemic is the worst the country has seen so far. It is imperative that we keep the provision of Keyworker and vulnerable children service to a minimum to keep it as safe as possible for the staff who will be providing it, and for those children and their families who have no other option but to attend.
If you are able to keep your child(ren) at home with you, please do so wherever possible.
If after due consideration you require a keyworker place for your child, please complete the online form by the deadline of 3pm today. This is crucial to enable the correct staffing ratios.
