On Tuesday 9th January 2024, our Year 6 football team took part in the EFL Cup at Ipswich Town Football Club. We were placed into Group A where we played matches against Rendlesham, Ilketshall St. Lawrence, Cliff Lane, Cedarwood, Sebert Wood and Edgar Seweter. After some excellent performances on the pitch from all the players, Hadleigh finished the competition with 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. This meant the team finished 2nd overall in their group. Well done Year 6 on a very cold morning, and thank you to ITFC for a wonderful event!
