On Wednesday 1st July 2026, our girls team competed in the Under 11’s Girls Cricket County Finals at Stowupland Cricket Ground. This was the result of the team progressing from the Ipswich Schools finals the week before.
There were 5 schools that had made it to this stage of the competition. The other 4 teams that competed were St John’s (Ipswich), Paddocks (Newmarket), St Louis (Bury St. Edmunds) and Sidegate (Ipswich). During the morning, the girls had to play each of the other competing schools. The girls followed their fine form from last week’s Ipswich School festival and played brilliantly, managing to win 2 out of 4 of their matches.
This resulted in our girls finishing third overall in the county and were awarded prizes & certificates. Well done girls, an amazing achievement!
