Year 5 make the history books!

As some of you might be aware, Hadleigh Leisure Centre is currently in the process of having a new swimming pool built. This means the original swimming pool is being demolished and used for a different facility. On Friday 20th March 2020, one of our Year 5 classes made the history books as they were the last school swimming group to use the pool. The boys and girls are looking forward to using the newly built pool in September.

Under 9's Girls Football

On Wednesday 11th March 2020, Hadleigh CPS entered a team in the Under 9's Girls Football Festival at Ipswich Town Football Club. There were a total of 18 schools that took part in the event. Hadleigh were put into League 1 where we played matches against Claydon, The Oaks, Causton, Castle Hill, Witnesham and Dale Hall. The girls played brilliantly throughout the afternoon, managing to win all 6 of their games which was a fantastic achievement. The girls were also treated to a mini tour of Ipswich Town Football Club which they loved!

Under 9's Multiskills Festival

On Friday 6th March 2020, we took 12 Year 4 pupils to participate in the Hadleigh Pyramid Schools Under 9's Multiskills Festival at Hadleigh High School. Within this festival, the boys and girls were mixed up with other boys and girls from different schools. Once in their teams, they competed in 8 different events. Some of these activities included javelin throw, space hopper slalom, hurdles and bean bag throw. All the children had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed their morning. Well done to the Orange Team who were crowned overall winners!
