On Thursday 8th June 2023, Hadleigh competed in the Under 11’s Girls Cricket Festival at Ransomes Sports Ground, Ipswich. There were 6 schools that took part in total. The other 5 teams that took part were Dale Hall, St John’s, Morland, Castle Hill and St Mary’s Woodbridge.
During the morning, the girls batted brilliantly, which was followed up with accurate bowling and some tidy fielding. After an excellent display from the girls all morning, Hadleigh managed to win 1 match and lose 1 match. This meant they then had to play in a play-off for third-place, against Dale Hall. HCPS came out victorious! That victory meant that they finished third overall. Well done Year 6 girls!
