Under 9's & Under 11's Cross Country

On Friday 6th October 2023, we took part in the Under 9’s and Under 11’s Boys & Girls Cross Country festival at Hadleigh High School. There were 7 other schools participating in this competition. The other schools were Whatfield, Bildeston, St. Marys, Beaumont, Elmsett, Kersey and Hintlesham. During the morning, all of our pupils had to run 1600m which was just short of a mile. There were 4 races in total. An Under 11’s Boys race, an Under 11’s Girls race, an Under 9’s Boys race and finally an Under 9’s Girls race. Every pupil ran fantastically. After the scores were totaled up HCPS won the Under 9’s Boys, Under 9’s Girls and Under 11’s Girls categories, with the Under 11’s Boys coming runners up. Well done to the all the runners who raced!
