Under 11's Girls Football Festival

On Tuesday 17th October 2023, Hadleigh CPS entered 2 teams in the Under 11’s Girls Football Festival at Whitton Sports Centre. There were a total of 12 schools that took part in the event. Hadleigh had a Year 5 team in group 1 & a Year 6 team in group 2, where we played matches against Colneis, Claydon, Henley, St Mary’s (Woodbridge), East Bergholt, St John’s (Ipswich), Morland, Beeches and Cedarwood.

Both HCPS teams won their respective groups, which meant that Hadleigh played each other in the grand final! After normal time and extra time, the game finished 0-0 resulting in both teams being awarded joint winners.

This was an amazing achievement by all the girls, demonstrating fantastic skills and ability throughout the mornings games. Well done!
